Are pets allowed?

No ! Our animal friends are not allowed in our vehicles because we think of people suffering from allergies due to cat and dog hair.

In which country am I allowed to travel in my van?

The vehicle can only be used in the countries of the European Union as well as in Norway and Switzerland.

The destination and the countries to be visited during your trip must be indicated to us at the time of booking on the site.

Travel to all other non-EU countries except Norway and Switzerland is excluded.

How to wash in a van?

Hygiene remains an essential element when you are on the road.

Fortunately, our vans are equipped with an outdoor shower with cabin and a TB CONCEPT bathroom for The Randger.

The best thing is to alternate nights in complete autonomy and nights in campsites on certain evenings, to access showers and toilets but also to drain and replenish clean water.

How to find the right spot for the night?

Finding and spending the night on the most beautiful spot is every vanlifer's dream!

To find the ideal place, we recommend 2 free applications: park4night and MAPS.ME.

 

However, it is advisable to comply with the regulations.

In France, camping or parking in a van is practiced freely, but under certain conditions.

 

Camping is prohibited :

  • On the shores of the sea
  • Near classified sites
  • In natural reserves
  • In the protection perimeters of water points consumption

What should I do in the event of a breakdown?

Your van breaks down! You are not alone. ALLIANZ assistance will accompany you if your van is immobilized.

Available throughout Europe, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

What to do in case of a traffic accident ?

Immediately

Report the accident by turning on your hazard warning lights and installing a warning triangle.

Protect yourself by putting on a yellow vest.

If necessary, alert the emergency services and the police.

Fill out a joint report with the driver of the other vehicle.

Note the identity and address of any witnesses.

Call your ALP'IN VAN agency to declare your claim.

What to do in case of theft of the vehicle?

In the event of the theft of the vehicle, you must, within 24 hours from the time of the theft, make a declaration of theft to the competent authorities and immediately contact your ALP'IN VAN agency and give us the report of the filing of the complaint.

What equipment is included in the price?

Our vehicles are new and are equipped with the latest innovations to make your trip more enjoyable.

Can we smoke in the vans?

No, it is strictly forbidden to smoke on board our vans.

Will it be warm enough out of season at night?

Yes ! On board our Boreal, Randger and Custom campervans, stationary heating allows you, wherever you are, to heat yourself all night long, completely independently.

What are the dimensions of our vans?

The BOREAL has a height of 1.99m (1,90m width and 5,30m long).

The CUSTOM has a height of 2,09m (1,99m width and 4,97m long).

The RANDGER has a height of 2,60m (2,05m de width and 5,99m long).

What should I know about returning the van?

Your road trip is over, it's time to think about restitution.

In order to avoid additional charges being deducted from your deposit, we recommend that you return your vehicle with full fuel tank and in good clean condition.

Before returning, don't forget to empty the waste water and your toilets.

How to clean the van for its return?

You must return the van in the same state of interior and exterior cleanliness as when you left. However, you can take the end-of-stay cleaning option when booking and return the vehicle in acceptable condition.

What payment method do you accept?

ALP'IN VAN has chosen to work with the SWIKLY payment platform for our credit card payments.

What about the deposit and refund of the deposit?

Because the unexpected can happen, we ask you for a deposit by bank imprint of 2500 euros (two thousand five hundred euros).

Before the start of the reservation, we will send you the link by email via our SWIKLY online deposit service.

The deposit is neither blocked nor debited from your account. If no damage is found, the deposit automatically expires.

How many kilometers are included with my rental?

When you rent your van, a package of 200 km per day is systematically included.

If you want to do more kilometres, you must therefore choose

  • the complementary COMFORT insurance pack at 19€/day which will allow you to go up to 300km per day
  • the complementary PREMIUM insurance pack at 29€/day which will allow you to go up to 500km per dayper day

Where can I fill up my van with water?

At most stations dedicated to motorhomes or ordinary service stations.

What are the times to collect and return my van during my stay?

You must pick up your van between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the day of rental and you must return it on the last day of rental between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
